Our Promise
Groups are right to be careful about outside companies. Here is where we stand, in writing, forever. If we ever break one of these, leave — exporting your data and walking away will always be free and easy.
We are not affiliated with anyone, and we never will be
Chairs & Coffee has no affiliation with Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Al-Anon, or any fellowship, and we will never use any fellowship’s name or logo, claim endorsement, or trade on anyone’s traditions. Groups pay outside vendors for rent, coffee, and phone service every month. We’re a vendor. That’s the whole relationship, and we think it’s an honorable one.
Anonymity is architecture, not a setting
Contributors to a basket are never visible to other members. Hotline volunteers and callers never see each other’s numbers. Group websites hold no member names. Nothing we send to your inbox or shows on a card statement announces anyone’s business. We build it this way because some of us live it.
We never sell or share your data. Period.
No advertisers, no treatment-center referrals, no “partners,” no analytics brokers. Your group’s information exists to run your group’s services and for nothing else. Companies in adjacent spaces have been fined by the FTC for leaking recovery data to advertisers; we built this company to be the opposite of that story.
Your money is your money
Basket funds flow to your group’s own account — we never hold them. Your splits follow whatever your business meeting decides, and changing or leaving takes effect the same day. Pricing is flat, published, and boring, like rent.
The exit door is always unlocked
Export everything — minutes, rosters, treasury reports, contributor-free records — with one click, free, forever. A service company for groups built on rotation should never hold anyone hostage.
Questions, doubts, or a board that wants to grill somebody? Good — write us at hello@chairsandcoffee.com and we’ll show up to your business meeting with answers.
